Help with Nowshot: permissions, photos, reminders, iCloud, subscriptions and purchases. You can read this page without an account.
Tell us what happened
Email official@xyz-ai.app with your Nowshot version, device model, iOS version, steps to reproduce the issue and what you expected. A screenshot is optional; hide private photos and location details. In the app, Settings → Send feedback also opens our contact options.
Photos or camera are unavailable
Open iOS Settings → Apps → Nowshot and check Camera, Microphone and Photos permissions. With limited photo access, only selected photos appear; manage your selection from the app’s album screen or system settings. An iCloud original may need an internet connection before it opens or exports. If saving fails, keep the draft and retry after checking storage and photo permissions.
Reminders are missing
Check automatic reminders and individual reminder scenes in Nowshot Settings, then verify location and notification permissions in iOS Settings. Background visit reminders need Always location permission. Swiping Nowshot away in the app switcher stops background reminders until you open it again; with notifications on, Nowshot lets you know when that happens. Keeping Background App Refresh on and Low Power Mode off helps reminders arrive; Capture reminders → Stay in the background explains more. Focus settings, system scheduling and location availability can delay notifications. Weather reminders also require a supported build and network access; a reminder is not guaranteed for every visit or weather event.
iCloud sync and changing devices
iCloud sync is part of membership. On each device signed in to iCloud with the same Apple Account, turn it on in Nowshot Settings → Sync & devices → iCloud sync. It syncs your settings and preferences, blocked places, the covers you picked, and your stickers and fridge doors. Stickers and fridge doors use your iCloud storage; if it is full, they stay on the device until there is space. Featured albums are made by each device from its own photos and do not sync. Covers need iCloud Photos; photos and videos follow your iCloud Photos settings. Local drafts, visit history and app media copies do not move. Turning sync off, or a membership ending, pauses sync and keeps what is on your devices and in iCloud. After you change Apple Accounts, sync turns off; check the account and turn it on again.
Subscriptions and free trial
Membership is a weekly, monthly or yearly subscription, or a one-time lifetime purchase. Monthly and yearly plans can start with a 7-day free trial, one per Apple Account; cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends and you won’t be charged. Subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel. To change or cancel, open My membership → Manage Subscription in the app, or iOS Settings → your name → Subscriptions; access continues until the end of the current period. Capturing, saving and browsing your library stay free.
Restore purchases
Open the membership screen and tap Restore Purchases, using the Apple Account that made the purchase; this restores subscriptions and lifetime membership. Check your network and App Store sign-in if access is not restored. Billing and refund requests are handled by Apple; contact us if the app still does not recognize a completed purchase.
Delete data or ask about privacy
Manage photos from the app or system Photos. Removing a system original requires system confirmation; uninstalling Nowshot does not delete system Photos originals or what is already synced to iCloud. Read the privacy policy for retention, permissions and third-party services. Email us for questions about information you sent to support.
